This is one of the all-time great stoned-with-the-headphones-cranked-up-to-eleven songs.

Totally cheesy prog-rock wannabe, but great studio effects with everything flying back & forth from left to right, and like I said, you just have to be stoned & wearing headphones for this song.

Dammmmmmnnnnnn.  I might have to be like Mike & pull an early Friday if they're playing that part of the catalogue.

The other surprises from today's '88 set were Paul Carrack's "Don't Shed a Tear" and a Pixies song with Kim Deal singing lead.  Also three (!) movie excerpts (Rain Man, Beetlejuice, When Harry Met Sally), resulting in the set not ending until 10:52.  Consider self warned.

Impressive -- that's the Pixies twice in, what, 10 days?  Guess they're beloved in "New York's Backyard".
