as I predicted last week. Waiting to see which Foghead requests "Wreck of the Edmund Fitz" ;)
ETA: OMFG, less than an hour after AL posted the clue... someone named Rosemary Gretton requested the Lightfoot tune. Do I know my Fogheads, or what? Oh, and someone else asked for "Island Girl" (wrong year, but we heard it in that same Chartbusters set last week). *sigh*
-
I've requested "Convoy" again. Heck, perhaps I'll request "A Fifth Of Beethoven" or "Disco Duck" sometime.

AL addressed that! I LQTM'd:
PS-FYI-a few of these already made their way into sets from last week, umkay?-Like Gordon, Al S, etc...Lots of good stuff to choose from with all of these, though.

Bless her heart! BTW, 10:00 meeting for me so I'll have to catch up later.

that Boz Skaggs was NTM. bloozy.
HM to Lawrence Welk. Watching that show in reruns is a trip -- it comes on late weekend nights on KTEH, I think. ok, I mean, it's sort of 'informative,' and charming, but you can only look for so long, but still fun and funny.
BOS Get Up Offa That Thing by James Brown. He says he feels good in this song, as if we couldn't tell!

"LIKE" Convoy and Disco Duck.
I likes me this KC too. Yay disco!

how's that line go? Eleven long haired friends of Jesus in a chartreuse micro-bus?
That was Rachel Welch doing her Juggs impression from Mother Juggs and Speed.
-
I prefer KC's disco to The Women Are Smarter. Little Feat?

Robert Palmer, actually. HM from me. Same to KC and Wonder Woman.
But BOS to "Coyote," which got multiple FB requests today.
-
Coyote! Nice request!

Robert Palmer, but LF coulda been on that track too.l

Mike'll be sorry he missed "Mozambique." I can do without it, myself.

Kind of a slightly less good "Black Diamond Bay", replete with EmmyLou Harris, which is always a good thing.

BOS Police and Thieves

Woohoo! Big BOS for Parliament tearing the roof of the mother, suckah!

yeah, but that keyboard is kind Lawrence Welky, IMHO. nevertheless, it is turning this mother out.

Let me hear you say YEAH!
BOS, the Mighty J Geils Band and "Southside Shuffle".

One of AL's sumpin' fer everybody sets. This is a long way from "Coyote," that's for sure. I personally think "Coyote" shows up a little too often, great though it is.
-
About 20 yrs ago my brother was AC/DC's waiter at a resort in Phoenix. He said they were actually quite polite and good tippers!
-
ha, AL giggles even when she does her James Brown impression.
"Hit me! HUNH! .... Tee hee!"

so we got "Southside Shuffle" but not Southside Johnny. Oh well. She *is* from Boston. Seems like a well-rounded set and not too much obviousness (there were requests for "Play That Funky Music" and Boston's "Foreplay/Long Time" -- kudos on avoiding both). Methinks the JB was a bustout; Dave rarely played post-'73 James.

Nicely played -- the Boz (talk about a Silk Degress track you NEVER hear) is a bustout, as is the JB... and a bunch of relative rarities too.
-
I have to WOS that Junior Murvyn tune. When I worked at Starbucks it was on one of their playlists and it was the most annoying thing ever.

Which, I believe, completes a run for Silk Degrees: every track has appeared in an SF 10@10.

Hrm. I don't see "Harbor Lights", "What Do You Want the Girl to Do?" or "We're All Alone" in the shraytabase; I'm sure AL has played at least one of those but I'm hazy on whether we've heard all 3.
