as usual, I can't access AL's FB page. There were no clues there as of 9:00 last nite.
ETA: Webster just said something about a "summertime vibe" -- is AL still off? Another rerun?
oh, I see -- '70s chartbusters. The Summers of Your Life! "Oooh Child" gets an instant BOS1.
-
Ms King stays in bed.
-
BOS2 Still Bill, giving us somebody to lean on.
-
I got yer ancient Chinese secret right here, Mr. Lee. Whoo Mr. Lee!
-
BOS3 Bloodstone, takin' to the sky on a natural high. A real summer-of-'73 flashback for me.
-
oh yeah, love the George McRae!
-
'74: George McRae sings to his sexy mama, Gwen -- it'd be nice if her "Rockin' Chair" is the '75 entry
-
'74: George MacCrae sings to his sexy mama, Gwen -- it'd be nice if her "Rockin' Chair" is the '75 entry
it'd be like hearing the same song twice.

Biked past AT&T Park on my way to work this AM, and the workers were assembling the stage for Paul McCartneys'' upcoming (Saturday?) concert. I might just head down there and listen through the fence (I think they'll certainly NOT allow folks on the sidewalk area next to the park) or maybe snag reasonable scalped tix.
another BOS to Macca
ooh, time for a xylophone solo!!!! Moonlight Feels Right!
-
xylophone solos RULE! BOS4 Starbuck. yo, baby, make my tide rise again!

Speaking of umpteenths, I still like to hear Starbuck.
"The goon'll send you on your way."

Yes, I see that some Paul fans aren't fond of this one. I diggit, tho. If you are at that impressionable age, a song can have lasting meaning. One person's pop nugget is another person's overplayed schlock.
talking about umpteenth! (actually I like Margarita-vile...)

So there are some new tickets available for Sir Paul. I searched and they are in "Section X" which is supposedly field level, but doesn't appear on any seating chart. Any idea where that is?

I just got this info from Ticketbastard:
Section Row Seats Description
X 3 17 - 18 Field Seating
Section X is next to Section 24 on the Field

Stands to reason, I suppose. Though I wasn't able to extract that info from the webpage. Did you talk to a human?
ETA: I see it now. They've added it since I was there last!

I note that rather than replay the 4th of July Set for the 6th time, AL substituted an all-Beatles set from last year in honor of Sir Paul's AT&T appearance.

I was wondering; I didn't remember reading about a Beatles set this week!
