His & KFOG's, and for the first time in memory, it isn't 1982 on Sept 16th.

Happy b'day Urth, and nice shout-out from AL.
You've been going through some rough times, and I know it's a little thing, but I hope it put a smile on your face. 8)

Whenever I hear Up On The Roof, I think of Rod's house, where Beej & my two young sons & I joined him & his housemate to watch the KaBoom show on the roof.

It did indeed, and thanks to y'all for such a resounding batch of birthday wishes! I am determined to make this a good birthday, recent events notwithstanding! And Annalisa's birthday greeting was a nice touch as well. I wasn't sure if the B-urth-day club was still a going concern when I e-mailed her yesterday, but she said sure, she'd give me an on-air mention. So I was quite pleased that she remembered.
ETA: Btw, I had nothing to do with the choice of sets--she'd already picked the VT for today's selection, but I am pretty happy with her choice, particularly since I got '82 on more than one occasion (as Mike noted). I do remember getting a '69 set one year, but that was a while back.
Going to have to vote a 10-way tie I think--these have been some pretty great selections all the way around.

BOS Groundhog Day!!!

OMG! Here's a bustout for the ages--Herman's Hermits! I saw Peter Noone aka Herman in about 1980 with a new wave band called the Tremblers--he looked almost the same as in 67, but with a better haircut. And yeah, they did this. Don't remember if they threw in Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter.

You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes well you just might find
You get what you need

This clubhouse is the only place where I can be both idiosyncratic and predictable.
