really, Human League Fascination is a Katrina?  no bother, Still gets BOS anyway.  and I loved the video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49cerBJo-HA

another BOS for The Smiths.

and nice segue from Jobs into IGY New Frontier.   Obama's speech yesterday was almost as passionate as Mr. Apple's!
Donald Fagen seems like a Katrina, for sure.  Still a great song, and another good video.

you realize of course that I often use the word "katrina" in the broad sense of "songs Dave seemed to play lot", whether or not they are technically katrinas.

WOS ATF's worthless Falco cover. Man, this one always annoys me.

agree on WOS, bleeah.

yes, I realize the term "Katrina" isn't held to that mathematical formula, but sometimes means "oh man, this song again?"  meaning you'd wish they're break out a bit and discover new ground.

and speaking of a real mathematically-proven Katrina: The Call. I hate to WOS a song whose politics I agree with, but sheesh this one's overplayed beyond belief.

VHM's so far: Human League, Bow Wow Wow (On principle; this is the first time I've heard a song by them that's not 'I Want Candy') & After the Fire (Yeah, the Falco version is better but I still can't deny...I love this one!)

Still keeping my fingers crossed for Pale Shelter...

The whole rest of BWW was the Ants, you know.  They went behind Adam's back to consult with Malcom MacLaren about how to take Adam & the Ants to the next level & MacLaren said, forget him, I've got this totally hot 16 yr old Burmese girl who RAWKS!

BOS #3, Sexy + 17

BOS #2 was whatever that song was after Der Kommissar, did anyone ID it?

ETA: Oh, that was Ministry.  I was gonna say that whoever it was lifted the keyboard riff from "Everyday Is Halloween", but I guess actually they lifted it from this song to put into EIH.

WOS 2 and 3 to the Stray Cats and Violent Femmes.  What a way to end the set.  & I wouldn't mind the VF so much except that I have bad memories of that song from high school.  Everyone tried to play it or sing it in order to become one of the 'in crowd'...  ::) (Don't ask, I don't understand either.)

A complete reversal from most Annalisa sets, where she plays what are the most annoying ones IMO at the beginning.

2nd (US) album. The first (in '82) was really a best-of compiled from UK stuff they'd done, iirc.

According to Wikipedia, she was born 10/31/1966, so she probably was 16 at the time. And 42 now.
