BOS2 Strawbs, ripping off an old folk song, "Union Maid" (?) as "Part of the Union".

Second visit to the ghetto this afternoon.  I feel like "Masterpiece" should have been a 15-minute epic instead of this 4:30 single, but that's just me.  VHM, in any case.

slight guilty displeasure to "Masterpiece", which is towards the pretentious end of the Norman Whitfield spectrum, IMHO.

Mshray just called me on the cellphone and asked if anyone had noticed that Dave had played the news soundbite about Nixon's supposed "Sat Night Massacre" right before "Sat Night's All Right For Fighting".

Since I was unable to even hear that portion of today's show? I have no idea what he's really talking about. But, thereyago.

What's the new avatar?  It's sleek, but I don't recognize it.

Dude, yer new avatar is makin' me dizzy. Nice work, as always.

BOS to the Temps. I'm guessing this was a follow-up to Papa Was a Rollin' Stone? Sounds like they were cut from the same cloth.
Let's get right to it.

Thanks! It's the logo for SPECTRUM, the Mysteron-fighting organization from the classic 60s marionette kids show, Captain Scarlet!

Oh, totally.  Whitfield won a Grammy for PWARS's arrangement, why wouldn't he go to that well again?

Meantime, nice to hear "Also Sprach Zarathustra," which I bet would be the Mshray BOS vote today.
