and once again a prediction comes true. We're getting good at this lately.

I'll be listening but it will take something gob-smacking to get me to post. Too busy today.
5 mins before a '79 set we hear TP, "Don't Do Me Like That". And this morning at 6 we heard "London Calling". Here's hoping AL avoids both :)

OK, that's fairly gobsmacking: the looooong version of "Hot Stuff" (including rarely-heard sax break) and she let it segue into "Bad Girls". That's 10+ minutes of Donna Summer. FP's head just exploded in horror, I'm guessing.

Was Donna Summer the TOTHK? "Hot Stuff"/"Bad Girls"
-
ZZ Top "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide"
-
BOS for ZZ Top, cause they bad.
I've always dug the outro on this one.

Was Donna Summer the TOTHK? "Hot Stuff"/"Bad Girls"
no -- Roxy Music "Angel Eyes"
and here's JCM with another loooong one
-
I'll give a GPVHM (Guilty Pleasure...) for "Good Girls Don't".

He needs a lover who won't drive him crazy?

BOS JJ, "One More Time", closest to a rarity so far.

you'll have to settle for "Heaven".
-
Talking Heads "Heaven" (I'm away from the radio for several minutes at a time...)
-
Walter Cronkite on the total eclipse of the sun ---> The Police "Bring On The Night"
ETA: Will AL make it to 11:00 with this set?

This next song's going to have to be eighteen minutes.
-
Orson Welles for Paul Masson wines ---> Electric Light Orchestra "Shine A Little Love"
-
Electric Light Orchestra "Shine A Little Love"
Personal fave -- always nice to hear instead of "Don't Bring Me Down". No wonder people joked that this LP was called Disco? VERY!

What was it really called? This is certainly disco. It outdiscos "Miss You".
ETA: Never mind. I looked it up and found it's "Discovery". Clever.

An enjoyable, diverse, representative set, I'd say. Nothing qualifies as a bustout, though I can't say for sure if we ever got that looooong version of "Hot Stuff" (much less that Dave or anyone else segued it into "Bad Girls"). Nothing I'd call an uber-LN either, but if you listen to Kiss-FM more than casually, you probably encounter the regular "Hot Stuff" more than you'd like.

Forgot to mention: BOS tie between Donna Summer and ZZ Top.
