a sort of... boojie-woojie music being played...

I hear Long John Baldry is Clarence Thomas' favorite dead British rocker.

And here's poc's favorite Dead song! I need a woman 'bout twice my age...

a Uriah Heep track I can't recall ever hearing -- "Sweet Lorraine"? and the sublime "Letting Go" by Macca & Wings.

appropriate and most welcome after the Dylan docu: "Ballad of a Thin Man".  He's very well-read, it's well-known...

"let's see action... let's see people"

Back in the day I thought he was saying "Pepsi action... Pepsi people". Ironically, it's now one of the few Townsend compositions that ISN'T a commercial!

Do they always play this much Dylan? "Just Like A Woman"... per the STAX book I'm reading, Dylan hoped Otis Redding would record this, but Otis balked -- "too many damn verses!"

for the past hour I've been saying I'll switch to WLNG as soon as they play a song I don't like. But they haven't.

"it's midnite in Manhattan
it's a mad dog promenade...
so walk tall
or baby don't walk at all..."

Broooooce!
