Welcome Josh!
Mayonnaise is awesome. I dip chips in it. :P  (But, it has to be real mayo.  None of that miracle whip stuff.)

Josh, you are definitely  not alone!

I know. I usually bring this up in front of my classes at least once over the course of a school year, and there are always quite a few people who hate on the mayo.
Also, topic 3 under your Google search is what I was talking about when referring to the movie, Undercover Brother.

8th grade language arts and social studies at Redwood Middle School in Saratoga.  I'd taught sixth grade for six years until switching grades this year (necessitated by layoff process).  I like it quite a bit.
Is Oceana a small school?

Ya got that right.  I once took a friend to Joe's Cable Car and she sent her burger back because they had pre-mayonnaised her bun, which touched the patty.  She had the total Fonzie "liver" reaction.  "Maaaayooo....noooooo!"

Hiya Josh/HTY! Welcome to our little corner of the interweb!

I fall on the pro-mayo side of things, but in moderation. Never on potato chips but definitely on burgers and sandwiches. And negative to Miracle Whip, even though my mom kept it around through my entire childhood. WTF is the reason for that stuff anyway? Feh!

Ditto real mayo, no Miracle Whip (which is BIG in the Midwest and South).  Being from the Northeast, it was always Hellmanns (aka Best Foods Mayo west of the Rockies; like Dreyers in the West/Edys east of the Rockies).  Yes, a dab of real mayo in tuna, on deli sandwiches and on sliced tomato.  Like Radical I must admit, as a child I dipped potato chips in mayo.  I confess!   Anyway, welcome Josh, one of my college pals regularly jams with The Feelies in the NYC area.  Cheers!  'Wayback' Dave

Welcome Josh!

I once had a crush on a girl whose last name
was Mayo. "Am I still your FB friend?

Seriously, I am mayo-neutral, but definitely do not care for thr mayo-prep.

Hmm, mayo struck a chord.
I don't really like creamy foods, in general, and am equally repelled by ranch dressing and white clam chowder.  Even semi-creamy tomato soup kind of grosses me out.
When confronted by burger or sandwich that has been mayoed, I try to remain calm, remove offensive white material with napkins, and store these napkins out of sight. I can tolerate the traces of mayo left over.
That is so cool about your friend and The Feelies!  I've seen them live close to ten times.

yes, about 600+ students total, and a definite 'alternative' school in many ways.  My wife and I graduated from Lynbrook HS in '68 down your way.

Mmmm, mayonaise.  Without mayo, artichokes would be totally superfluous.

Hello 10at10 Club,
My name's Josh (Henig), I'm a Virgo, and I hate mayonnaise.
Welcome Josh. I'm a Leo. I have seen you on AL's fb page. I'm there too, (Alison). I am more active here than there as my patience is low for pissing contests and that seems to go on from time to time. I also want to remain more anonymous. Music and sports (MLB and NHL) make me very happy.

Thanks, Alicat! I liked your posting "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" a couple of weeks back. That song is one of my earliest musical memories.

I assume you're referring to Charlie Rich, not AFKAP.
