hey there, I'm listening right now and the songs are very different:

the Beatles (yay!) "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" > Roy Orbison "Pretty Woman" > Animals "House of the Risin' Sun" > Supremes "Come See About Me" > Beach Boys "I Get Around" > Rolling Stones "It's all Over Now

Either you're channeling Renée and letting it fly as-is.. or you put up the KFOG set...?    :)

That Johnny Cash tune sounds like a rewrite of Dylan's Don't Think Twice, It's Alright. Of course knowing Dylan's penchant for "borrowing," it could just as easily be the other way around.
Let's get right to it.

Indeed.  From Wikipedia:

Cash borrowed parts of the melody from Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right".

Wow, just wow.  I'd forgotten "Flashback" was one of his. I loved that song in late '73; I was crushed when it flopped.

 5. Vogues - American Family (1972)
 6. David Clayton-Thomas - Caress Me Pretty Music (1972)
 7. Dusty Springfield - Easy Evil (1973)
 8. Ted Neeley - Spin Away (1973)
 9. Henson - Do Me Wrong, But Do Me (1974)
10. Chris Christman - Do Me Wrong, But Do Me (1975)
11. Dee Dee Bridgewater - Every Man Wants Another Man's Woman (1976)
12. Alan O'Day - Started Out Dancing, Ended Up Making Love (1977)
13. Alan O'Day - Skinny Girls (1980)
14. Dave Mason - Replace The Face (1987)
15. Olivia Newton-John - Love And Let Live (1988)

Let me know if there's any interest in this...

Hate to keep harping on this but please: No more new sets for at least 3-4 days, OK? I haven't had a chance to listen to any of the four you currently have posted and I really would like to hear these before they scroll off.
Let's get right to it.

If I may offer a suggestion - just add the new sets once a week, or something like that? I think we all appreciate the efforts you're doing, but it in some ways I feel like we're being bombarded.

My Alan O'Day tribute set:

this was fab -- a bunch of these were NTM: the 3DN track sounds like it was written just for them; The Sami Jo could easily have been done by Ms. Reddy.  Kudos once again, Cap'n.
