Paul Hardcastle - 19
I want to say that this appeared during the AL era.

Does not appear in my files, so I'd say it hasn't been played in the past 11+ years.

Now this is another I'll have to find the time to listen to. Live 105 played "Deadweight" to death, then the song seemingly disappeared forever. "Electric Barbarella" was DD's last top 40 hit (although they continue to pop up here and there at HAC).... and the others seem intriguing. What - you didn't have room for "Semi-Charmed Life"?   :P

Cap'n, it's official: you are Don McLean and I am Lori Lieberman/Roberta Flack.  You're killing me softly with my most-requested songs.

What?

http://www.allaccess.com/net-news/archive/story/118591/bill-pugh-named-om-for-kfog-and-ksan-pd-for-kfog

Now that Bill Pugh has replaced Dennis Constantine, will this have any effect on 10@10?

Certainly could. As I just commented over on the KFOG thread, two PDs removed from Tony Salvatore and Dave Morey, I don't think 10@10 has quite the same "sacred cow" status that it did even a year ago. And I doubt we could count on Renee to fight for it.

Let's get right to it.

My (first) 1970 set:

This was, of course, spectacular.  I just discovered Blossom Dearie in the last year or 2 thanks to the Radio Deluxe podcast; I adore her.  And TANC, "Ballet For a Girl..." has turned up recently in the writing I've been doing about the early '70s.

My third 1973 set:

 6. George Harrison - Don't Let Me Wait Too Long

A criminally forgotten George track from that LP -- it got nearly as much airplay at the time as "Give Me Love" and "Material World" and really shoulda been a single IMHO. I played it often on my college radio show, usually back to back with Carly Simon's "Waited So Long". Thematic segues rule!

9. Fleetwood Mac - The Way I Feel
Thanks for this.  Even though I have all these, at least on vinyl, I even forget about tracks like this.  Sweet.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

What is this writing you've mentioned, and will you eventually share it with us?

It might turn out to be nothing, or it might be a novel. More than that I can't really say.
