I suppose she could do all of the worst themes (White/Keyes, Rita Coolidge, Sheryl Crow), but that's wouldn't be TOO bad.

Didn't a-Ha do a Bond theme too? I'd include that among the worst.
Let's get right to it.

I *LOVE* a-ha's "Living Daylights".  I believe we heard it in the last Bond set DM did (for Quantum of Solace in '08)

Tim quipped that we're getting 10 songs inspired by that big new movie opening today... Lincoln. Heh.

And we begin with... Tom Jones!! I don't think we got "Thunderball" in either previous Bond set, did we?

über-BOS1 to a welcome bustout!

Dave's 2008 Bond set:

Quote
1. John Barry Orchestra: The James Bond Theme
   2. Duran Duran: A View To A Kill
   3. Nancy Sinatra: You Only Live Twice
   4. Jack White/Alicia Keys: Another Way to Die
   5. Shirley Bassey: Goldfinger (BEST OF SET!!)
   6. A-Ha: The Living Daylights
   7. Carly Simon: Nobody Does It Better
   8. McCartney & Wings: Live & Let Die
   9. Sheena Easton: For Your Eyes Only
  10. Gladys Knight: License to Kill

couldn't find the earlier one, from when Casino Royale opened.

WOS Sheryl Crow, "Tomorrow Never Dies"

It's not that bad, imo.

So this is the Sheryl Crow theme that everyone seems to hate so much.  I don't think it's that bad either, just that her vocals are a bit weak.

in the context of this set, it won't get much worse, tho'. (unless we hear the Jack White/Alicia Keys abomination -- and we might)

For me, this one is worse.  WOS, Duran squared.
