31 Oct 2012: a Halloween Spook-tacular
« on: October 30, 2012, 12:03:34 PM »
Renee said on FB that they were planning one. I'm guessing it will be a "greatest hits" of Halloween sets past with nothing too "out-there" (like say The Cramps or Roky Erickson):

Zevon - Werewolves of London
Danny Elfman - This is H'ween
MJ- Thriller
Oingo Boingo - Dead man's party
Bowie - Scary Monsters
Ministry
Bauhaus
Screamin' Jay Hawkins
"Monster Mash" or "Monster Hash"
Who - Boris the Spider
"Season of the Witch"
"Frankenstein"

BOS1 Beetlejuice

Oddly, only Austin "Bob" played "Monster Mash" this morning -- The Drive and the Peak both passed.

And to be clear (and fair): H'ween is like Xmas -- there are some songs you really HAVE to play or people are disappointed, so I'm not gonna be TOO hard on NayNay this morning.

It's unanimous!  (and the first song she's played that none of the other 10@10s have done this morning).

ditto AC/DC, tho' I coulda done w/out "Highway to Hell"

Took me a couple of seconds to get that one. Prime mash-up material.

VHM "Tubular Bells", another one you really can't avoid. And it's still a very cool record.
