31 July 2012: it's a "classic" from... 1976
« on: July 31, 2012, 09:19:41 AM »
nothing on FB so it's not clear if AL is still sick.

Confirmed: AL still under-the-weather.

a "classic" from 1976.  OK, I'll stick around.

BOS1 BJ's "Angry Young Man" -- still a rarity after all these years.

VHM Seger with shout-outs to Berkeley & Queens -- and a lawsuit from Frankie Miller.

BTW this set first aired 29 Sept 2009, which means it's a stone classic pre-Constantine goodie.

followed by LN2: "Dreamboat Annie"

ETA: DW sez we "never hear" Dreamboat Annie or Crazy on You.  ::)

AL plays this in way too many 76 sets.  At first I was like "Noooooooo.  Not again!" but at that time I did not know it was a repeat (was deep in fire suppression at work when the set started).  Still, a major sledgehammer for me.

Ahh, those were nice little touches that sadly were disposed of.
