NTM on WDAS: Diana Ross, "These Things Will Keep Me Lovin' You" (orig done by the Velvelettes, apparently).

Listening to Glen Sauter's "Hits of Yesteryear" podcast, and here's a dee-liteful twin-spin of the post-Diana Supes: "Floy Joy" --> "Nathan Jones". Swoon!

followed by a Monkees rarity, "When Love Comes Knocking" -- a forgotten Neil Sedaka compo.

2NG's retro-chart is from July 1984.  An Ozzy Osbourne ballad? "So Tired" is NTM at #39.

OMFG: Divine's disco hit "So You Think You're a Man?" is hilarious. An early Stock/Aitken/Waterman production.

wow, hadn't heard Elvis C's "I wanna be Loved" in ages.

OMFG2: Lloyd Cole, "Perfect Skin"!

One of Shannon's follow-ups to "Let the Music PL-HAYYYY": "Sweet Somebody".

ooo! Echo/B-men: "Seven Seas". Kissin' the tor-toyz shell! And Scritti Politti's "Absolute" which I also haven't heard in many moons.

and still another forgotten track: Human League, "Life On Your Own"

The afternoon DJ at WDAS just played "Give me Just a Little More Time" and outro-ed by saying "man, that General Johnson -- been a long time sing I saw him!" Well, considering that he died nearly 2 years ago...

Ooops.
