Luce?  Rob Thomas?
Mr Thomas and his Matchbox compatriots. WOS1.

made-up fact:  he and Cher went to the same vocal coach.

this next one seems NTM -- has some jangly pop elements, not too bad.

"Rainy day"? it was quite a KFOG staple but I'm blanking on the band.

I'll give a BOS for the Chicks and their stand. And Landslide is such a beautiful song. They do a nice job on it.

America's reaction to their lead singer's fairly innocuous comment r/ W is one of the low points in this country's history.

In their live set they do an irony-laden montage of late 70s tunes in the middle of Radiation Vibe (their first hit). Cars and Joe Walsh are prominently featured. Styx, too, iirc.
Let's get right to it.

Gotta give her credit. Whenever a year comes up that makes me cringe, she rises to the occasion and finds the gems among the shite.
