Sucks indeed. I'd heard he was ailing but didn't know he was that close to the end of the galaxy.

Is he the first Star Trek cast member to shuffle off this mortal coil, or has DeForest Kelley already gone on?

I think Bones is already dead, but I'm not sure.  

Was going to try to work in a skeleton joke there, but it didn't come easy enough.
