BTW- article on today's SFGate on Asian stereotypes:
Stereotypes go 'Banzai!'  Look at decades of comic books, you'll find these 8 Asian archetypes over and over.

Very Yoda-esque:  There No Are Coincidences.

(Or stereotypically Asian.  Ah-so.)

Oak-town's own Pointer Sistahs, they're playin' one of the county fairs this summer (Marin?)

As a duo?  Or did Bonnie return to the fold?

Wow, the main reason that I remember the date of the Mt. St. Helens explosion was that I was already accepted into college in Tacoma WA when it happened, only about 75 miles from the volcano, and when I got there my freshman roommate told me that it was also his birthday.  And he was the one who introduced me to this Steve Forbert album.  We played it a lot actually.

Another coincidence for this classic set is that today is Pete T's 66th birthday.

Yeah, this set originally aired back when DM/AL would play a bonus track a bit later after the set concluded.

Pointers play Marin County Fair on July 3.  Not sure which Pointer(s):
