Yay! "put your WOS where you want it", Gaz.  Another fab track only a curmudgeon could dislike.

Semi-jinx.  If the song were 1:15 it'd be grand.  But it repeats itself without going anywhere, making it the Boston Rotary of instrumentals.

I once taped a 1972 set that had both "Conquistador" and "Put It."  If we get the Hollies' "Long Way Home" and English Congregation's "Softly Whispering" later, then Dave's been recycling.

Dave's ALWAYS recycling.

BOS 2 to Shelley.  we'll hear that again when the remake comes out.

And he-e-e-e-e-e-re's Shelley! "Just cause I've put on a little weight lately"--sheesh, the mistress of understatement!

Was that Jack Albertson in that scene as well?
Let's get right to it.

I wonder who will play the Shelley Winters' part(s) in the 2 remakes. They should just release the fuckers on the same day. I bet people would try to see both in one day & break some kinda record or something.

Yeah, Jack Albertson was Mr. Rosen, and Shelley was Mrs. Rosen.

I thought Booker T's "Time Is Tight" got that title from you.

Ooh!  BOS2 to "Drowning in the Sea of Love."  I wish I could sing this without going into my Muppet voice.

I love that mini-drum breakdown, where he goes, "I been down one time < crash, crash > / And I been down two times < crash, crash >" -- later updated by Roachford on "Cuddly Toy" as "If I told you once, I told you three times < crash crash crash > / If I told you three times, I told you FIVE times!"
