Huey's "Heart & Soul" would not be out-of-place on a McCartney LP.

so, Chris Isaak Friday, Huey today... can Percy be far behind?  AL likes the big boys.

VHM Red Rockers.  I think the Huey was a bustout; certainly a rarity.

An innocuous start to the set -- pretty unusual but not much of a kooker.

"China" is what the eighties sounded like to me, though not quite as whiny as my least favorite stuff.

Wow, I didn't know there was a System and that this was a cover.  I'll have to check it out.

always liked that Red Rockers song, BOS.  I recall WHFS in Wash DC playing it one day at a slower speed, not on purpose, they must've had the 45 and started it at 33 rpm. I told my friends, "Hey, this song is too slow" and the then jock corrected the speed and my friends were all impressed with me.   :)

uber-BOS English Beat ska-ifying Andy Williams' "Can't Get Used to Losing You". (I loved the original when I was 8!)

I'll second that.  They're some of the real class of the 80s.  And nice of them to let the non-lead singer (I gotta read up on these guys...) do a couple verses.

I'm gonna give a BOS to Genesis for "Just a Job to Do", mostly because my band played it.  I did that guitar part.  It's a lot of work!

oh these newfangled computer thingys are so confusing!

Phil & Genesis begin an assault on the charts that would last... entirely too long.
