'LNG plays Barry Manilow's cover of Ian Hunter's "Ships" -- I surely have not heard this in 25 years at least.

Gaz will be pleased to know that Rich Appel of Hz So Good is being interviewed on WLNG's "Hits of Yesteryear" show, plugging his "shouldabeens" poll.

'LNG is playing songs by comedians -- "King Tut", etc.  And here's Billy Crystal-as-Fernando, "Mahvelous". Eet eez better to look good than to feel good!

ETA: Eddie Murphy's girl wants to party all the time! assuming she's an actual girl, biologically speaking.

OMG! Albert Hammond's rip-off/hommage to S&G, "Air Disaster" -- it's "Dangling Conversation" meets "The Boxer" and Paul Simon shoulda sued.

OMG2: Kate Bush, "Man With the Child in His Eyes"

I'd never heard that before.  Just YouTubed it; you've nailed it.  Reminds me of that old joke: "I want to die peacefully sleeping, like my grandfather - not screaming in panic and agony, like his passengers."
