Great start to the week: Archie Bell's fab forgotten "Gonna Be a Showdown" (which sadly is not on YouTube).

http://somafm.com/ -- the folks who bring you that wacky Xmas channel every December, have added an all-covers channel that's pretty damn cool. Just heard a NTM Ramones version of "Time has Come Today", and here's Arcade Fire covering T.Heads "This Must Be the Place."

ETA: a version of "Jump" that's neither VH nor Aztec Camera. It's by... Hellsongs, who I've never heard of.

Mostly Beatles, but they throw in the occasional cover: Esther Phillips' fab "And I Love Him" really made my day.

TANC: here's "Me & My Monkey" for the 2nd time today. What were the odds?

Listening to Offshore today. NTM and gobsmackingly WTFLOL-ish: Jimmy Cliff, "Vietnam".

WTFLOL2: Dusty covering the Supes' "When the Lovelight Starts Shining Thru His Eyes". NTM and as fab as you'd expect.

Magic 98's "Saturday @ the '70s" just played the Partridges' "Doesn't Somebody Want To Be Wanted?" followed by Gun Hill Road.  More than ever it's Love... but What is Love? and Who is Love? I wanna know!
