Speaking of German, BOS for the extremely silly Trio tune.
"Play the tape machine, make the toast and tea"

BOS: Dio!!!!

Funny, sounds like the Scorpions now. :)

Nice save.  I was about to have your EU passport revoked!  ;) :D

Whew! But you can sing "Rainbow in the Dark" just as well as "Rock You Like a Hurricane" over that chorus. :)

Nice segue, from Officer and a Gentleman into I Don't Love You You Don't Love Me...

Except now we gotta listen to this turkey.
Let's get right to it.

Kraut rock rules!

Ja, wohl!

More Kraut rock!  BOS #3 Trio, and I bet the fact that it's tune #3 is no coincidence.

Any other German tunes that could fit in this set? 99 Luftballons? Der Kommisar? (Nah, I think those are '83.) Or maybe Schock Den Affen, the german version of Shock the Monkey.
Let's get right to it.

This ska-ish tune about a House of Fun is new to me.  Oingo Boingo?

Spoiler: It appears Van Halen's "Pretty Woman" cover is on deck.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Not even a bustout, but I'll BOS it anyway: Enz' Six Months In a Leaky Boat, Tim Finn's ode to the early settlers of New Zealand.* Everybody whistle!

*At leaast that's how they tried to spin it. Was also interpreted as criticism of the British invasion of the Falklands.

And now we go from a UK #1 (Madness) to a song banned by the BBC (Split Enz).
