I agree with Gaz's assessment: this will no doubt be '70s-centric. Sorry I have to miss it...

Well, half of it anyway--set starts with 1975.

First song is Thank God I'm a Country Boy.

Yep, that's a HFH.
Let's get right to it.

I like it. Not that I'd seek it our on purpose but just having it on the radio is OK once every few years.

this is an HFH indeed, but if you're just a few years older than me, you might love John Denver!  My church bandmates love him.

Gag me with a spoon!
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

Just as I'm sure there are people who love Henry Gross and Shannon.
Let's get right to it.

GAAAH! Stupid work. I missed "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and most of "Shannon" because my masters keep making me look for a document they just know they've given me. But, they freaking haven't! AAAHHH! I hate being a fucking peasant.

The '77 representative was Leo Sayer's How Much Love.

And I'm not recognizing this disco drek from '78--something like "ah ah ay ay--let's all check" (I'm sure I'm mondegreening that last part.)
Let's get right to it.

Sounds like a precursor to "Sweatin' to the hits"--my body, your body, everybody, let's all check"

(I believe between this and my last post I have quoted this song's complete lyrics. But what the hell is it???)

your body, my body, everybody wants your body. Disco heaven.

I'm having flashbacks of rollerskating in GG Park, short shorts, whistles blowing. Pretty people.

Kinda like In the Navy
There are 10 kinds of people; those who understand binary, and those who don't.
