Dwight Twilley's "Girls" just doesn't do it for me without the video.

OK, I realize every set can't be like yesterday's, but other than the TOTHK, this is a Xerox of a DM '84 set. Some fine songs, yes, but... jus' sayin'.

This one could have been done by Dave hisself. Loved the Style Council, JJ's OK, but the only bustout was the Echo & the B-men, no?
Let's get right to it.

Is it my Mac, or is the stream wigging out?

The stream here has been fine today, but it's been selectively freaking out for some of us over the past week or so.

BOS2 to Tina.
Let's get right to it.

VHM.  Great song - but Cy Curnin of the Fixx showing up on stage in the video as Tina's unappreciative lover is forever a WTF moment for me.

great minds...

But as if to keep her average up, even in a Moreytrinafest AL still gives us a couple of bustouts (not sure if "Legs" is a b-o or just a rarity).

Gee, we could really use a GEICO ad here.  VHM2 to the faux-British Rockwell Gordy.

Holy Flaming Mutha of Pop (Argot)!  Rockwell -- who doesn't, really, but BOS6 to another ATBB (Austin "Bob"s sets don't really count).

Legs goes into the rarity column--two appearances prior to today's. But amazingly, Tina Turner appears only once as a solo artist in the DB--one play of What's Love Got to Do With It? dating to 6 1/2 years ago.

But the Rockwell is also a BO.
Let's get right to it.

Does anyone remember Rockwell's similarly paranoid fgollow-up, "Obscene Phone Caller"?  ("If Alexander Bell were alive today / Would he want the telephone to be used this way?")
