btw, the "sup" button is what you wanted here: BOSn+1

nah, I only thought the Feldman quote was incrementally, not exponentially, better than the average.

Whoa! Another BOS from yours truly. One of my fave GD songs, Scarlet Begoninas!

And Bustout #4 as far as the Db is concerned.

And that is really saying something for a 1974 set.

I'm beginning to feel about Annalisa the way I did about Ginger 4 yrs ago.

Loved that show - Columbo

Me too.

Hey Raster, we're having your kind of weather today, gloomy low-hanging clouds, occasional showers.  Is it sunny up there?

Columbo is wonderful -- agreed.  Peter Falk is the man.  he had many guest stars on the show: I recently saw the ep w Johnny Cash (from season one?)   They're on DVD iffen you're interested.

Than again I'm quite sure Geoff really meant exponential about "Scarlet Begonias".

Whoa! Another BOS from yours truly. One of my fave GD songs, Scarlet Begoninas!

I should explain the intentional misspelling. For years, From the Mars Hotel, the album Scarlet Begonias was released on was out of print. In the mid-80s, it got the Mobile Fidelity half-speed mastering treatment, and that was the only way you could get a copy. But when it came out, Begonias was misspelled "Begoninas." So among me and my deadhead pals, this song was always "Scarlet Begoninas."

I guess ya hadda be there.
Let's get right to it.

Nice.  Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry = "James Dean" - too fast to live, too young to die.

ETA: one of my best friends from college had the exact same car as in this movie, '69 Charger, Limelight yellow with the fat black stripe, adn just about the biggest production engine ever..

That's astounding!  But AL doesn't become Ginger until she tones down the giggles.

Typical OR weather here too - cloudy. Last week we had some exciting thunderstorms. Yesterday big hail (but not in my area)

Jeezus, I just looked at the clock--it's 5 minutes to 11. This may be one of the longest sets in history!

Deadheads are historically divided about Donna.  I really liked her, and many I know abhorred her.
