BOS2 to Elastica, "Connection."

Def. agree. Alt rock radio ear candy from '95. Come to think of it, 95 wasn't a bad year for rock radio.

BOS #4 Connection.  I listened to this a lot in 1995.

wonder where they got "computer-voice guy" -- he sounds like Conky from Pee-Wee's Playhouse.  That "game-over" thing seems lame to me.  and the hyper-announcer guy: Yuck.

Closing with "A connection is made": meta optimism on Annalisa's part?

That was just weird, and not clever.  What did she say about "Katy not making it up" in the backsell for "I Kissed a Girl"?

But on the whole, entirely presentable.  I enjoyed it, I gotta say.  Which was always questionable for sets in this era.

I wonder how the bonus track thing will go now that Annalisa is doing both.

Oh you old guys.  Katy = Katy Perry.  Google it and then come back to discuss.

that was Jill Sobule, not Katy Perry. ;)

Well, not bad for a first time, but like Dave's '90s sets, a dearth of pop and R&B.

she said "I gave you Jill Sobule's I Kissed a Girl.  Katy what's-her-name didn't make it up, you know."

Pop chanteuse of the moment Katy Perry had a hit recently called I Kissed A Girl--but I've never heard it so not sure if it's the same song. (Guessing not.)
