Harry Chapin's signature "Taxi"--a real sledgehammer.

"oh, Harry -- you're still driving a cab? How positively droll!  I'm married to a millionaire -- here's a large pity tip!"

I always get stuck on the line about the $2.50 fare - in NYC today, the meter *starts* at $2.50.

a couple more things to get stuck on:

- he calls it "Frisco"
- the falsetto / countertenor (?) passage.  uuhhh... what?

but it's a good song.  very powerful.
