did you feel the earthquake?

Was it a big one? A roller or more of a hard snap?
Let's get right to it.

I suspect the bonus track is being omitted from the stream again. We're at 7 minutes of ads so far--I've heard the ACT ad twice and about 4 Local Music ads. Eff this noise.
Let's get right to it.

That's too bad, I heard it in the car, and it was a good one:  Midnight Oil - "The Power & The Passion".

The question was 'what was the title of the REM song Davd played?' and the reason Annlisa asked it was that she named her cat in 1983 Catapult because of the song.

I thought that was pretty funny.

REM, when they were "cutting edge."

little known fact* about this REM cut.  It started off with the title "Trebuchet," but they guys felt Michael Stipe was being too pretentious w that one.

Pretentious? a skinny, bald, closeted (in '83)  gay guy? No, really?

Yeah, but he wasn't bald in 1983.

And nice work on the trebuchet thing Tinka!

I noticed this the day this thread was started but it says 30 March 2000 on the subject line. And I'm sure you folks don't want to go back to that date because it would mean in 8 months George W. Bush would become President.
