at least I'm pretty sure that's what Bob promised us yesterday.  Any hope for "Bang bang" by Cher? or Nancy S, "How Does That Grab Ya Darlin'"?

Their morning show just played "Calif Dreaming" so we'll avoid that chestnut at least. I predict Stones and Paul Revere and maybe some Hollies.

this sounds like 1968 based on the news clips.

I haven't been early enought to hear the whole intro, but I was under the impression that it wasn't the same stuff every time, and usually included year specific stuff.

The pre-show montages are not necessarily related to the year in question. Which confuses the heck outta most of us.

Early BOS Yardbirds!

Early BOS to the Beatles: "Eleanor Rigby," while a less than ideal TOTHC, is one of Paul's best songwriting efforts, hands down.

Hoping to hear Paul Revere too.  "Hungry," maybe?

BOS2: the 'oo! Astounding that this wasn't a US hit.

Likewise, and now BOS #3 for "Good Vibrations."

BOS2, "Psychotic Reaction."  Not great songwriting at all, but what a fun listen.

Man, I gotta tell ya, ever since I first listened to Little Steven's Underground Garage, and especially since I picked up the 4-disc Nuggets set, I have really been in love with the whole garage genre.

So BOS #4 for "Psychotic Reaction"

Hey Gaz, regarding your quote, what's the latest on that whole finger thing.  I heard something in passing about the lady who claimed to find it being arrested.

What a year for great bad TV -- It's About Time, a personal fave.  There really should be a night on TV Land devoted to "lost" one-season-wonders like that.

"Good Thing" -- even better!  I sang this at a karaoke night in Glassport, PA once.

Indeed, this is a real lost classic from Mr. Revere.

I have the original vinyl version... I'll have to upgrade.
