Yeah, he hasn't got the hang of finishing the morning show at 9:55--he seems to be running it all the way to 9:59 or so.

Love YSAYM--not your typical TOTHK but it's working for me. Can't wait for Mic Gillette to hit that high note at the finale--and the horn arrangement all the way thru is pretty great.
Let's get right to it.

BOS2, to Rod, Ron, Ronnie, Kenny, and Ian--just don't be here in the morning when I wake up!

Wonder if their reunion that was mentioned for this year is still on track?
Let's get right to it.

that horn section had wind and stamina...  maybe Vic Conte was testing some of his Balco prototypes on them?

And the BOSes just keep on coming--one more for Black Dog. Proxy of Rod, while we're here.

ETA: And of course, the player has to buffer right in the middle. Grrrrr.

Now lemme get this straight....you put the...

OK, a BOS for this might be a stretch, but I'd venture an honorable mention. Kind of a novelty hit, but there's nothin' wrong with that.

Lemme guess--the cat's name is Coconut?

Another serious BOS contender in Badfinger--such a great band. And pretty much all of these songs were on the charts in '72--I remember hearing 'em on the Top 40 station I was addicted to back then--KROY, may it rest in peace.

And is this the long version of People Make the World Go Round? We'll know in a few seconds...

ETA: That would be "yes!"

About 20 years ago I was at a Beatle fan convention in NJ and followed behind two original members of Badfinger as they strolled thru the swap meet. It was fun to be a fly on the wall and overhear their remembrances of the Beatles and that late 60's early 70's era as they would spot memorabilia.

Can't say I recall this one from '72, but I came to appreciate it later on--Mama, Weer All Crazee Now. Just think, if they'd been able to spell who know where they coulda gone?!? ;)

This Albert Hammond hit, a sledgehammer to '72!
