We're due for 1979 here today, too.

But we go to 1981 instead--for the second time since Dave split for Michigan. Who's keeping track of these things?

I heard this yesterday on RP.  I noted then that it sounded an awful lot like Tom Scott on saxophones.  AMG confirms that this is the case.

Scott has a sound that's pretty identifiable--he plays the reed parts on the Dead's Estimated Prophet, too, and it sounds just like he does here.
