3 September 2008: Takes us to 1976
« on: September 02, 2008, 09:35:46 PM »
I think Dave said 76. Crossing my fingers. Hard to whittle it down to just 10.
Wish list:
Something from Frampton, don't think Dave would dig too deep.
Something from KC
Bee Gees (dare to play something other than You Should Be Dancin?)
Fernando
Boogie Fever
December 1963
Devil Woman
Don't Take me Alive
Dream (Katrina) Weaver
Jailbreak
Love Hangover
Love Rolly-coaster
Magic Man
Rubberband Man
Silver Springs
Wild Mountain Honey

Dave will probably close with Leon Russell.

The election year string continues. Seems to me DM did this around the conventions in 04 as well.
Let's get right to it.

I'd like to hear Spirit's "Like a Rolling Stone."  Does anyone have this?

indeed -- I'd say either '92 or '96 are sure bets for tomorrow. (Leaving at least the possibility of '68 on Fri)

I have never liked the overcooked bombast of Boston's "Foreplay".

VHM too since I'm hoping for so much more. Saw Boston in Concord a few years back and it was splendid.
This was a must have album
