And he wraps it up with the Beatles' In My Life.

Not too much sentimentality in the final minutes, but he did seem to get a little misty when thanking everyone for all their good wishes about half an hour ago.

He mentioned he's going off to do a TV program on the Manchester United football club, a subject close to his Mancunian heart no doubt.
Let's get right to it.

OMG! R.Dean Taylor's "There's a Ghost in My House"  -- a hit in the UK, tho' it barely registered in the States. And I'll say it again : The 4 Tops shoulda covered it.  "there's a ghost in mah 7 rooms of gloom!"

OMFG and TANC of the Week: Greg actually just played "7 Rooms of Gloom"!

Ree-Ree's dishin' out the dirt on everybody... givin' each other the 4-1-1 on who drop-kicked who this week. I'm amazed that Aretha-lover Dave has never played this....

...or BoyzIIMen, "MotownPhilly", which followed.  "MP" is certainly superior to CMB's "All 4 Love"

So I got home early this afternoon and, with some time to kill before John Adams, I finally remembered "Lost 45s" -- it's been ages since I listened, I usually forget, and besides, the station's web page takes For. Ev. ER. to load with dial-up.  But I finally get set up and... they've upgraded their player and I can't listen without downloading Adobe Flash Player or somesuch. Damn.
