This Helen Reddy songs always reminds me of Tootsie.

Er...proxy of Swellegant:  "My Ding-A-Ling".  Yikes.  How the hell did this chart so high?

BOS to "Garden Party".  Ya know it!

I learned "Garden Party" from Dick Bartley, who seemed unusually fond of it.

Agreed on the strangeness that "My Ding-A-Ling" turned out to be Chuck's only #1.

One more BOS for "I'll Be Around," the greatest pop single production ever.  Would have been equally nice, though, to hear the flip side, "How Could I Let You Get Away," which was the originally promoted A.

Lobo: he was the "Total" package, har har.

BOS-I've-lost-count Bread -- nice choice of "extra"s today. "Sweet Surrender" is another you rarely hear. I remember seeing Steve & Eydie do a cover of this on Merv Griffin or Mike Douglas or someplace.

Wow: Lighthouse both pre- and post-Casey -- "Pretty Lady" and now "Sunny Days". Well all RIGHT!

NTM: "Savin' all my Love" by Charity Brown. Nice!

Worst. British. Accent. EVAH. And deedle deedle doo.

VHM Sting's fortress; WOS2 Corey Hart's LDD.

BOS5 Paul Young, covering Ann Peebles.

VHM OMD; BOS6 Scritti Politti, far enuf from its days as a Moreytrina to be delightful again.

BOS7 "Party All the Time", a very underrated single (it's basically a Rick James record with Eddie Murphy guest-hosting, as it were)

Klymaxx try to sleep with the lights on. VHM.

Livvy's forgettable "Soul Kiss" was her last Top 40 hit.

This hour's extra: Dionne & friends, "That's What Coke is For".

Hour 3: WOS3 Loverboy; VHM ZZT in they sleepin' bag.

BOS8 Arcadia.

WOS4 Bryan Adams, "One Nite Love Affair". One MINUTE of him is unbearable.

VHM David Foster's retro-EZListening instrumental. But it just now dawns on me that Casey did '85 2 or 3 weeks ago. Everything coming up is quite familiar and i don't have any new jokes...

Ree-Ree's Zoomin'. "You WILL remembah mah BOS9! Funk YOU!"

Olay your, um, whatever.

Now, I'm having problems posting too......

When I first heard Klymaxx's "I Miss You", I *swore* it was MJ.

Speaking of coke, I'll also BOS "My Trannie Likes To Party All The Time".

Another BOS to "Election Day".  Simon, Nick, and the Taylors can't come up with a decent band name between them.  Arcadia? The Power Station?  Duran Duran?  Jeez.

I like my pock-marked Canadian boy next door.  But "One Night Love Affair" ain't no "Summer of '69".
