I'll always be grateful to this song for garnering me $800 or so on "Rock & Roll Jeopardy," but I confess I've always thought the song overrated.  Though I really get where Starsailor took its vocal cues now.

Oh, thank you for reminding me of these two - both major faves of mine, and a big part of why '97 was such a great year to discover San Francisco.  Both courtesy of Live 105, so great at the time.

I *do* remember listeing to Z-95.7 a lot that summer because they were playing "MMMMBop" every 2 hours, like clockwork -- the only station in town that was playing it.
