Whoa--Sweeney's tracking H&O's Family Man--one I've been after DM to play for awhile now.
Let's get right to it.

KFRC's Casey's Top 40 this week comes from Nov. 19, 1977.  Currently at #26 with "Slip Slidin' Away"; I missed the week's debuts, which included "Baby Come Back," "You Can't Turn Me Off (In the Middle of Turning Me On)," and "Sentimental Lady."

There's something very unsteadying about Judy Collins' "Send in the Clowns" and the Commodores' "Brick House" back to back.

That Judy, she's a brick house all right.

Heard the first hour, left for work just before Barry's "Daybreak", which i'll catch on the replay tonite.  But it was fab to hear the Carpenters covering Klaatu.

these current commercials Casey's doing for Bose headphones are quite jarring in that he sounds SO MUCH OLDER. Compared to his 1977 voice, he sounds like he's about 80.

Quite the contrast between the #2 and #1 singles: #2 is Heatwave gettin' down with "Boogie Nights", while at #1 for the umpteenth week... it's... NOOOOOOOOOO!!! IT CAN'T BE!!!!  Yes, the Whitest. Record. EVAH. Debbie Boone, "You Light Up My Life".
