What is that soundbite with the strange burping sound followed by chanting...something...like "eat three bears tonight, eat three bears tonight."

it's "TV Party tonight!"  -- Black Flag, iirc. Dave plays it frequently before TV themes ot clips.

You are correct, sir!  Here's the full lyrics for the bored:
T.V. PARTY TONIGHT
T.V. PARTY TONIGHT
T.V. PARTY TONIGHT
T.V. PARTY TONIGHT

WE'RE GONNA HAVE A T.V. PARTY TONIGHT...ALRIGHT
WE'RE GONNA HAVE A T.V. PARTY ...ALRIGHT...TONIGHT
WE'VE GOT NOTHING BETTER TO DO,
THAN WATCH T.V. AND HAVE A COUPLE OF BREWS

EVERYBODY'S GONNA HANG OUT HERE TONIGHT...ALRIGHT
WE'LL PASS OUT ON THE COUCH ALRIGHT...TONIGHT
WE'VE GOT NOTHING BETTER TO DO,
THAN WATCH T.V. AND HAVE A COUPLE OF BREWS

DON'T TALK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE...WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW
WE'RE DEDICATED TO OUR FAVORITE SHOWS

WE SIT GLUED TO THE T.V. ALL NIGHT...AND EVERY NIGHT
WHY GO INTO THE OUTSIDE WORLD AT ALL...IT'S SUCH A FRIGHT
WE'VE GOT NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN WATCH T.V. AND
HAVE A COUPLE OF BREWS
T.V. NEWS SHOWS WHAT IT'S LIKE OUT THERE...IT'S A SCARE
YOU CAN GO OUT...IF YOU WANT...WE WOULDN'T DARE!
WE'VE GOT NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN WATCH T.V.
AND HAVE A COUPLE OF BREWS
DON'T TALK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE...WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW
WE'RE DEDICATED TO OUR FAVORITE SHOWS

I WOULDN'T BE WITHOUT MY T.V. FOR A DAY...OR EVEN A MINUTE!
I DON'T BOTHER TO USE MY BRAIN ANYMORE...
THERE'S NOTHING LEFT IN IT

WAIT A MINUTE MY T.V. SET DOESN'T WORK
IT'S BROKEN!
WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO TONIGHT
THIS ISN'T FAIR
WE'RE HURTIN'!
WE'VE GOT NOTHING LEFT TO DO
LEFT WITH NO T.V. JUST A COUPLE BREWS

WHAT ARE WE GONNA TALK ABOUT...I DON'T KNOW
WE'RE GONNA MISS OUR FAVORITE SHOWS

NO T.V. PARTY TONIGHT.
"Play the tape machine, make the toast and tea"

put it where you want it and then do it again -- hmm. Gaz's theory may be right!

Well, Jose got a birthday set on Friday--maybe he expressed his gratitude most profoundly.
Let's get right to it.

OMG! BOS Stills/Manassas -- this has been an enjoyable set, but this is the closest to a rarity, unless I missed something.

And the segue into "I Saw the Light" was marvelously seamless.  He had to have practiced that.

Todd's "Light" surely gets full-blown Katrina status now, no?

I'm just a singer in a rock 'n' roll band. It doesn't matter. I saw the light.  Do it again, from the beginning. Put it where you want it!

It will now have qualified, but Grin was already ahead of it & now still is.
