Pete Kleinow, legendary steel guitar player (and original Flying Burrito Brother) was 72. He was also an animator and director, which i did not know...

my favorite pedal steel player. You'd be surprised at how many people he played for. I used to have a cassette with nothing but tunes he guested on.
A friend of mine was recently playing bass with Pete; what a loss.
