You weren't the only one. A couple friends and I went to see 'em at the Omni in Oakland (remember that place?) and I'd heard that was his MO so I wasn't bugged, but I guess I forgot to tell my friends, who were hoping to hear Cowgirl in the Sand and Needle and the Damage Done and such. They were pretty pissed. That's Neil for you. Does whatever the f*** he wants. I gather he's a pretty weird guy.

It is a good song, but it's also a KFOG playlist staple, and hence rather shamelessly lackluster, choice-wise. As has the whole set been.

Yeah, that probably sums him up.  I never really found out why he did it.  I thought they must be making a live album and wanted to get two shots at everything.  I guess the real story is they only had one set's worth of tunes.

Yeah, I can't dispute that this set pales in comparison to, say, yesterday's. Nothing at all resembling a decent nugget anywhere to be found.

So I switch to CG and I get Dan Hartman's fabulous "I Can Dream About You", off by a year (it's '84) but more interesting than just about anything we heard today.
