Without question.

Gary Myrick redeems things, somewhat.
Let's get right to it.

I'll give Mr. Myrick a very enthusiastic BOS.  I still like to hear "Wind Power", but it's too close to being a Katrina to get a vote.

I'll BOS Thomas.  I dig his sound.  And I like Martha too.  I don't know what you all hate about her.

In a totally unrelated note, a quote, probably from a movie, just popped into my head.  I don't know what it is, or where it came from, but it's been bugging me for years.  I always imagine Eddie Murphy saying it, but I can't confirm it.  Anybody recognize it?

the two best alliterative lines in rock in the same week!

#2 the "bubble-headed bleach blonde comes on at five".
#1 the "little old lady got mutilated late last night".

"I just have to look good, I don't have to be clear".

VHM Mr Henley, still relevant.

and speaking of, Olbermann did another brilliant ripping-Dubya-a-new-asshole commentary last nite.

hey POC, you just passed the 4k post mark, congrats!  You're probably the only one of us who doesn't make the majority of their posts while loafing at work (well maybe Gaz is in the same boat).

Anyone have any idea what the lyrics are about?

Please please tell me now
Please please tell me now
Please please tell me now
Please please tell me now

I made a break I ran out yesterday
Tried to find my mountain hideaway
Maybe next year maybe no go
I know you're watching me every minute of the day yeah
I've seen the signs and the looks and the pictures
They give your game away yeah
There's a dream that strings the road
With broken glass for us to hold
And I cut so far before I had to stay

Please please tell me now
Is there something I should know
Is there something I should say
That would make you come my way
Do you feel the same 'cos you don't let it show

People stare and cross the road from me
And jungle drums they all clear the way for me
Can you read my mind can you see in the snow
And fiery demons all dance
When you walk through that door
Don't say you're easy on me
You're about as easy as a nuclear war
'Cause the dream that strings the road
With broken glass for us to hold
And I got so far before I had to say

Please please tell me now
Is there something I should know
Is there something I should say
That would make you come my way
Do you feel the same 'cause you don't let it show

Please please tell me now
Is there something I should know
Please please tell me now
Can you see what makes me blow
Please please tell me now
Is there something I should know
Is there something I should say
That would make you come my way

Dude, it's Duran Duran -- it's not about ANYTHING!  They are the masters of willful obscurity (but with a sense of humor, unlike Rush).
