that commercial for the concert with Megadeath and Lamb of God is freakin' (and unintentionally) hilarious.

BOS5 the Dan, Any Major Dude. "have you ever seen a squonk's tears?" -- no, but I heard "Squonk" the other day.

Arnold on the Dating Game!

Followed by Lynyrd Skynyrd, sounding just like Molly Hatchet. LOL!

I was gonna give a big ole HOLEEE SHIT on the Dating Game clip, but yer a bit off on the second comment - Molly Hatchet is strictly a guitar outfit & never had anything like the keyboard & horn arrangements on this.

This has not only been a typically great Ginger set, but at this point we've got a '74 flavor that I can't recall anyone else giving us.  Not quite sure how to describe it.

Wow!  Who the *bleep* is Timmy Thomas!?  It never occurred to me that Sade was doing a cover song, and the longer it goes on, the clearer it becomes that she did an amazingly faithful cover at that.

I was just riffing on my Hatchett/Skynyrd comment from Bob's set

As to your "flavor" comment, one thing that jumps out is the fact that Ginger plays Waits quite often, and Dave doesn't play him nearly as much as you'd think he would/should.  Ditto Little Feat.
