...at least I'm pretty sure that's what Bret just said when my player kicked in.  Could be a real nice morning.

Starting kind of early with another Macca track.  Also repeat mention of the Sears Tower.

BOS #1 "Band on the Run"

BOS #2 to Broooce.  I'm lately really getting into this period for him; it makes great running music for me.

I for one could not be happier.  The rain exploded with a mighty crash as we fell into the sun!

What an amazing year he had in '73 -- Red Rose Speedway was an improvement (IMHO) over some of his previous hit-and-miss output, and included "My Love", his biggest solo hit up to that point, and he followed that with "Live & Let Die" (which Dave played this morning in the 6:00 hour).  Then Band.... which is clearly his best-ever LP.

So yes, BOS1. And here's #2 from Broooce.

I've got a 10:00 meeting, so I'll miss it either way, but I was thinking it wouldn't be too big a stretch to hear '73 from Dave too, since we hadn't been there since May 30.  But then I realized we haven't heard '72 from him for precisely three months.  So who knows?

Either would be wonderful. But I've got a bad '90s feeling about Dave's set today.  Which means KINK Theme Set day for me if so.

BOS Martin & Sissy.

OMG!  Jimmy Buffett, "Peanut Butter", I really still love his first 5 or 6 albums, before anyone ever called themsleves a Parrothead.

Second one from this set that I've never heard before.

In both cases, I was pretty sure I knew who was singing, but hadn't heard them previously either...

Make it a third that I've never heard.

Was a lot of early Jackson this countrified?  Might be time for me to explore that part of his catalog.
