ETA:  If I could have gotten through I would have picked Zep as well, but I would have asked for "When the Levee Breaks".  Still, when was the last time KFOG played "Stairway..."?

It got my BOS vote on da replay.  The ILM Board's just recently had a spirited discussion over who has a better career body of work, Diana Ross or Donna Summer.  (It's still in debate whether to count Diana's Supremes work.)  What I really like about "Remember Me" is that Diana doesn't exhibit that all-consuming urge to make a song "hers"; she just sings the hell out of it where she needs to and gives others space where she needs to.  One of her best from the decade, along with "My Mistake" and "The Boss."

Thanks; it'll have to share the vote with La Ross, though.  But do you know how badly I would love to produce a vocal group covering this?  If you'll allow me some hubris, I think I could do some really good things with this song.  (I have a few other songs in mind for which I feel the same way.)

So if I ever move back there, would anyone be interested in forming a '70s cover band, based in sunshine pop, trash singles, and bubblegum, called AM Gold?  It's been a backburner dream of mine for a few years now.
