Ginger jumps forward 20 years.  Marc Cohn up first, with "Ghost Train", probably my favorite cut off this album.

ETA: Which as I noted last Wed when Dave played "True Companion", is one of the few albums of later vintage that Dave mines deeply.

No immunity from Crowded House.  Did anyone listen to this much in 1991?  I sure didn't.  Total Narada for me.

Another BOS to John Prine.  Does he have a Colorado connection?  Cuz Ginger plays him, and, at least as far as my Db can show, Dave never has.

well, we lost internet just as the set began -- back in time for John Prine! BOS on principle.

KPIG played his classic "Your Flag Decal Won't Get You Into Heaven Anymore" the other day.

I just checked his Bio on AMG & nothing to indicate a CO connection.  Likewise for the subdudes.  Must just be Ginger Faves.

Hmmm.... Shiny Happy Guest Vocalists, can't decide if this is a VHM or WOS...must clear my mind.

Holy Crow, Jimmy Buffet, "Treetop Flyer".  Gaz should hear this, it's not what he'd expect.

BOS #4.

ETA:  Well it's not what I expected either, cuz it's Stephen Stills, not Buffett.

I did, but that's just me. They were totally in my pop wheelhouse, and I loved Woodface.

But BOS The Other Side of Summer, which was the only song I heard in today's set.
Let's get right to it.

Buffett covered it, but Stills wrote it, not the other way around as I mistakenly believed.  Seems like a natural for Buffett, tho'.
