FYI, I'm out of commission from the workspace for the indefinite future because the IT department is lacking in either I or T.  Our internet connection is roughly the equivalent of two dixie cups with a length of string.  So I can't use even the faintest amount of non-work-essential bandwidth.   :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:

Wow, I guess Dave has permanently changed his mind about Madonna.

He went years without playing her & now she pops up with regularity.  I'm not such a big fan of "Vogue", but it certainly represents the year (I was doing a fair amount of dance club hopping in grad school).

"Holiday" or "Bordeline" in an '84 set or "Live To Tell" in an '86 set would really make my day.

"vogue" sounded quite nice. i wish dave would have followed the "pump up the volume" clip with ivan neville's "why can't i fall in love?" and i'd vote for "live to tell," also. i haven't heard that song in years, it seems.
