Woo Hoo indeed!

Greetings from Houston.  I can stay online for this hour, but then I gots to drive back to Austin (approx 2.5 hrs) to return the rental & fly up to Fort Worth.  Tomorrow I got more meetings, then back late to OAK.

The good news is that the two guys from Taiwan left last night, so I no longer have to spend every waking minute in their company.

Get It On!  Sounds like I can do that.

Oh my... "Water Song". BOS. A mellow memory.  Remember after 9/11 when KFOG loaded up their playlist with "comforting" instrumentals like this, Joe Satriani, and "Embryonic Journey"?

Hot Tuna gets a BOS from me as well.  This is a track that one can say is truly timeless.  Sounds good anywhere in most any format.

hey that's not only a great bit of music history/trivia about T-Rex, but that gives me 2/3 of a great M3S:

T-Rex - "Bang A Gong (Get It On)"
Icicle Works - "Birds Fly (Whisper To A Scream)"
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

Crap. One of my fave years and I can't get the stream to play. The Engle Homes ad, sure, but no actual programming.

Oh wait. There it is. About damn time.
Let's get right to it.

if the connection is that the parenthetical words are the title of another song, then add

Sheena Easton - ""Morning Train (9 to 5)".

Imagine if 3DN had covered this Argent song instead of "Liar".

Hey that's good, but not what I was thinking.

I was thinking parenthetical titles that were switched/reversed upon release in the US.

BOS2 Ginger's Cheeze Medley -- I'd LOOOOVE to hear Mouth & MacNeil.

VHM "Rock Me on the Water".  Ms Ronstadt did a nice cover of this one early in her career.

Argent. Always sounds good.

Yeah, I never get tired of this, but these Jack stations never play the long version.  I heard this on 103.5 "Bob" earlier this week & it pissed me off to hear the single edit.  Gives you the nagging feeling like your CD skipped.

So extra thanks to Ginger for taking care of that nagging feeling for me.
