Bob Explains His 1985: Don't Mess With Texas... & Pizza!

Bob recalls 1985 as the start of his love for recycling, in Texas. It was then that the slogan
"Don't Mess With Texas" began, and it was those words that fueled Bob. It might be difficult
to believe it started as a campaign to bring an end to littering, but, it was, and it worked like
magic. Bob explains he no longer litters in Texas, he just goes to other states to be messy.
This was also the year the "package saver" was invented. Bob's explination of the "package
saver" is "that little plastic thingy that saves the pizza from the top of the box." It really was
all about the reduce, reuse, recycle, Texas rules mentality after that. 1985 taught Bob a lot
about being green... he's recycled at least a thousand pizza savers since then, in Texas at least.

Bob Explains His 1979: I love the smell of BOBFM in the morning

Bob admits that in 1979 he used to spend almost all day calling 1-800 numbers just to listen
to messages from his fellow Jedi rebellion squad Luke, Leia, and c3po. He explained to us that
he feels there's no other reason to own a phone, if not to converse with pre-recorded messages
from fictional characters. We're actually convinced Bob has no idea that they're not real people
on the other end, but, we just go with it when he asks the pre-recorded voice "what's your
favorite color?"

Bob Explains His 1996: Show Me the BOBFM!

This was the year that the most painful breakup in celebrity history occurred. Michael Jackson
and Lisa Marie Presley sent shockwaves through Bob's world when they called it quits, and after
that, Bob had no hope for love. He admits that the breakup was a lot to handle, and he blames
Lisa for everything. He even conspires that she had to have been the mastermind behind tickle
me elmo. Only a monster would be capable of such torture.

Bob Explains His 1984: Where's The Beef?!

There certainly is a lot of pride one can feel when an athlete that represents their country
wins a medal, or holds the world record for a special talent. Bob recalls specifically how in
1984 an athlete by the name of Chico Johnson left an impression on him. Chico held the
record for the most hula hoops spun from a dead start. Bob explains that to deny hula hoop
as a sport, is to deny yourself. Chico even went a step further and wrote a song about hula
hooping. The one and only hula hoop song... now that's an accomplishment!
