I have never heard this before: WLNG playing some sort of hip-hop remix of Smokey's "Tears of a Clown".

followed by the Sunrays, "I Live For the Sun", an obscure song I'd never heard before it was included on a Rhino compilation called "Summer & Sun" in the late '80s. Now I hear it all over the place.

double OMG: Vikkii Carr "It Must Be Him", followed by Gene Pitney, "I'm Gonna Be Strong". And boy, did the 2 songs work well back-to-back.

"IGBS" is a Mann/Weill comp (isn't everything?) and was later covered by Cyndi Lauper (when she was with Blue Angel).

ooo! Love Unltd, "It May Be Winter Outside", a Gaz fave iirc.

Oh my yes.  My heart quickens just thinking about them.  Supreme elegance.  Barry may have been a ham, but he had good taste.

A ham who obviously ate a lot of pork.

"Sorry, Barry: Armour doesn't want hams with good taste... Armour wants hams that taste good!"
