8 Jan 2016: it's an "encore" from... 1990
« on: January 08, 2016, 08:06:36 AM »
didn't hear a promo, but we're certainly due for '90s or '00s.

ETA: another "encore", it appears. MC Hammer is in. And I think I'm out.

ETA2: that bumper with Rockwell saying "sponsored by" fooled me, but I can't find this set in the archives so I guess it's live.

ETA3: it's a rerun after all

(Pre10at10) This is the second time this morning that I've encountered this annoying Lightning Seeds song. I switched it off when it was on RP. Guess I'll let it play until Annalisa rescues us (hopefully). Do you know why yesterday was an encore?

ETA: Oh boo.

It may be a new set but going from Hammer to Jane's "Been Caught LN-ing" is unforgiveable.  I'm outta here for realz.

ETA: and now "Road to Hell"? Jeebus.

I'll give a BOS to Concrete Blonde out-Cohen-ing Leonard Cohen on "Everybody Knows". Haven't heard this before, I think.

I was surprised to hear all that about Trump in an old set, but I see it's not very old.

Likewise. I searched on all sorts of variations of MC Hammer and Can' Touch This and this set never surfaced. Good job there, Radical.
Let's get right to it.

Can't stomach "Suicide Blonde" today.

On the other hand, an ideal chance to go refill my coffee.

David Lynch's socks are on fire. BOS for Social Distortion's "Ring of Fire".

Ditto. The last 5 mins of the set were the best.  I could cough up another BOS for PiL, if only because it reminds me of the tie I met them during my chauffer days.  I drove Jane's, too, but just about every song on that album is better than BCS, so no BOS.
